New Speed Paint/ New Year's Eve

So for the past few days in my sickeness I've just been doing some vector stuff. Here is a vid of my Vamp Girl that I just recent finished. I added this cool dub-set song with it.



Beside that ITS NEW YEARS EVE.......yayy( said unenthusiastically)
I'm just kinda like...blah...over the fact that a new year is starting. It could just mean a different year but the same bullshit. I'm optimistic but i'm just....blah.
I mean let me make some money off my art, let me go to France, let me become that special someone in his arms....now that's what I want for my new year heh heh.
I hate making New Years Resolutions because I think in a since their a bunch of bull. A person finds it better to set a goal for themselves at the beginning of the year. What about just doing or trying to accomplish that goal regardless of what 4 digits appear on the new calendar. Me, my only goal....is living and let live.

So....I've Been Sick

So...yeah Christmas Break is here. No school, no classwork....that doesn't eliminate emotional drama. But in all i'm enjoying it. I've been just really thinking about my art and focusing on getting things done.....as well as exploring the AWESOME world of Netflix. I've been in anime mode. It's like a freaking Anime buffet. so many to chose from that I've never heard of before. I'm currently watching Witchblade which I'm liking alot.....but until I can find something else useful to talk about I leave you with a song..... ^_^

GrandTheftArtist Poster

So here is a poster I created in Illustrator that has that vibe of the Grand Theft Auto video games. I knew for a couple months that I wanted to create this and I'm happy with the way it turned out. Since I know that the original GTA game posters are created in vector(i think) I knew I could make my own personal one. I was fun doing.

Sea Girl Speedpaint

So here is an old drawing I did around the end of last year. I was going to color in in photoshop but just didn't like how it was coming out. So I decided to give it a try in illustrator. I think is came out nicely. I feel as if my skills in Adobe Illustrator are improving which is great. I still have more to learn but I find that video tutorials that other people have created are very useful. I'll probably be doing alot of vid speedpaints in Illustrator over the summer.

So I'm a fan of Drake...and here's a little vector that I did of him. I used a referecne photo of Drake which I take no ownership of but everything else I created in Adobe Illustrator using a tutorial to created the dice and vinyl. I was unable to find a good tutorial on how to create the speaker so I kinda just winged that one. I'm working on putting together the speedpaint vid of this which should be done soon. ^_^

Finals A Cummin

SO I have two more weeks before summer break decides to show it's face. I'm quite ready for the summer....meh....yeah but before I can enjoy the luxury of not doing a damn thing I must first conquer the institutions inevitable end of final exams. I basically am going to have to finish two oil paintings in a week and a half, write a 7 page paper in french discussing French media/arts, take an accumulative statistic test( i hate math) as well as take a trip to a museum to look at some art and then write about it just to e-mail it to my professor the next day and complete two graphic design projects.....not that bad really....Since I'm a huge procrastinator I've decided to get a start on some the paper work early....I tend to slack off towards the end of the year. ^_^

Illusrator: Actually completed somthing

Ok so here is a drawing that I've acutally did a version of before(using photoshop).
Since I'm taking a course focusing on using Adobe Illusrator....well I decide that I need to really know how to use illusrator. I'm very good at photoshop *cough* I'm not gonna brag or anything but I know the program alot better than I do Illustrator. As long as I practice I'll get better. I really like the outcome of the image.

My Cartoon Friends

This was really fun doing. I had always wanted to incorporate cartoons in one of my photos. I love movies like Who Frame Roger Rabbit and Cool World. Movies that combine cartoons and reality.

Animated cat

I've recently been messing around with the animation tools in photoshop. It's really good to make simple color .gif files. I created this cat today after my typography class was over. I've also decided to transfer the little cat design over to Adobe Flash and created a simple little effect with it moving. ^_^
